Kingston, Ontario singer-songwriter-guitarist Chris Giguère writes memorable songs of reflection, insight and pondering that live on the blurry boundary between folk, country, and rock. 

Chris performs solo and with collaborators Jen Calder (percussion, backing vocals) and Jared MacKay (bass), The Larks.

Chris Giguere’s music has always been just a little different. Eccentric, maybe. Quirky even. Original, and at the same time, somehow familiar.

Chris has always been fascinated by how music works. He began writing songs as a teenager and since then has written hundreds. Early days in a punk band, a few years in a celtic-polka-funk outfit, later times in folk and rock groups.

An EP of new songs is slated for release in early 2024.
